The ebb to the flow
Of last year’s
Advent Listening Adventure.
Over 45Days rather than 25.
So more of a meander
Than a venturing.
Slower paced, gentler,
Being and moving
Through the wet and the grey
Into the first signs of Spring,
 
A chance to just breathe,
To rest, look, be aware
Of small beauties,
Unexpected glories
In our communities
Across this city.
Riches and wonders
Waiting to be seen
And revealed in words
Or photos or sketches
Or whatever comes to hand.
 
A daily or weekly,
Or as and when
Sprinkling
Of colour and light,
Hope and heart.
A small tributary
Making its way
Towards Easter
And the greater flow
Of life and healing
And love.
Big, wide, deep, wild
Love.
