Good Friday
So then, fellow lingerers,
We find ourselves at Good Friday. And on this last day of Lenten Lingering, may we continue to linger in our various different ways. However and whatever’s been helpful.
For me, it’s been a different experience than first thought. Not the serene or steady six weeks I’d pictured. Ha ha. Instead it’s been a lot more weathered and curveballed and peopled and expressive. And all for the better!
There’s been times of quiet and spaciousness which have been appreciated. But the lingering’s been more about being with people and letting them in or going out to them. Friends and family mainly. A time of sharing and honesty and listening and lingering and letting things go.
A grieving, weaving, healing, heartening, very human time all in all.
There have been times when I’ve felt guilty for not putting much out here but when I’ve voiced that to some of you, the response has been the same. It’s alright! This lingering thing’s all about not feeling pressurised. So thank you for that! And for being part of this time together.
Looking forward to celebrating with those who can make it to the Minster on Easter Sunday for “Thru the Veil.” And if not, hopefully catch up soon.
It is finished!!
It has begun…..
